I am wondering how the Legacy Fallback License may affect subscription costs. It seems logical to me that once one has "earned" the Legacy Fallback License, one would be eligible for the discounted track. Thus, after paying, for example, $700 over two years to earn the LFL for the max subscription, one could enter the discounted track to encourage loyalty and reward customers for continuing their subscription rather than canceling it to keep the LFL. This would lower the subscription cost after two years from about $350/yr to about $130/year. Naturally, if one were to cancel the subscription, one would have to start over at the non-discounted rate.
Another option would be to offer the LFL as an option from the beginning, allowing anyone without interest in acquiring the LFL the option to subscribe immediately at discounted prices.
One reason I ask is because it seems absurd to charge new customers $350/yr indefinitely. After 5 years, they would have paid for the full feature set twice over and yet still be required to pay premium subscription prices.
Any clarification on these thoughts would be appreciated.
