Why Advertise This Book on Facebook?!?

For a while now I cannot figure out why Logos is selling books that have nothing to do with biblical studies or its related field. Here is just one such example I saw now as I was perusing Facebook:

Who is this targeted towards? I understand that Logos taps into a "feed" of ebooks, but is it not about time they hire someone to filter out this irrelevant books from the relevant ones? I cannot tell you how many books I see get posted to Logos that are utterly useless in anyones Logos library.

I have seen a book by someone who has a double Master's degree. One in Public Health and one in Religion. I assume that this work would apply to him.

Another user, Paul Caneparo, highlighted two of those recently in threads. They seem to be classical standard-texts (and Wiley-Blackwell is afaik a standard publisher with a high reputation for professional literature at university level). My personal theory is that those book projects were kicked off back in the day to become part of the "secular" Noet arm of Logos, and it just took its time to produce them. It's a bit sad to see such books coming out now, where Noet is no longer active.

In this specific case I wonder if this means they now have a working relationship with Wiley-Blackwell that gives hope for more books, e.g. the long-missed standard textbook "Christian Theology" by Alister McGrath. The second search result on immunology is a lot more interesting.

(And no, I'm not advocating to remove such positions from Logos. They are needed to be available to be able to point out flaws and debunkt the arguments.)

I saw this same ad on Facebook today as a sponsored post and was wondering why they're paying money to feature something that I would never buy.

When you go to LifeWay or Barnes and Noble do you purchase everything you see there? Of course not! If it doesn’t interest you then don’t buy it. When are you guys going to understand Logos is a business? Stop the crying and move on to the next chapter already. This has been discussed a million times and you guys keep coming back to it! Get over it with the whining!
