Upgrade from free version to GOLD unstable

I have just bought the Gold version and am having some stability problems.

Windows 11

32 GB memory

i5 12600

NVME drive

when i move the window from one monitor to another it freezes then crashes with no error message.

I'm assuming it's something that can be fixed easily and is associated with the upgrade.

Does uninstalling and reinstalling remove or change my hilighting or notes

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Tony - and welcome to the forums

Sorry to hear you are having problems.

This is unlikely to be related to the upgrade - though I recognise it looks the likely cause!

Uninstalling and reinstalling will not impact your highlights / notes in any way but is unlikely to resolve the problem.

I recommend enabling diagnostic logging and then posting your logs (after a crash) in a reply to this thread (please use the paperclip icon in the forum editor).

If you literally just bought it, it could still be downloading the extra features and indexing everything, so it may take a little bit of time before everything is stable. Try again once everything is downloaded/indexed.

Otherwise, this sounds like a video driver issue. Have you installed the newest video drivers?
