Undelete a notebook (RESOLVED)

I have a notebook that’s gone missing. It’s called “Allen’s Bible Notes.” It holds hundreds of entries made over many years, including my own translations of pericopes and chapters.

It no longer shows under Documents (where my other notebooks do show). It’s not an option under Visual Filters. All these notes are gone from my Android phone as well as my computer.

I was trying to solve a problem where I could no longer highlight, so I was following David Horton’s advice to John Dart in another thread regarding setting the highlighter to “No Notebook.” After that, my main notebook is gone.

I may have an old copy of this notebook on my previous computer, but is there a way to recover this notebook with all the current notes in it?

This is Logos 36.0.733 (no subscription), on Windows 11 Home (23H2 64-bit).

At the bottom left of the documents menu is "trash" - you should be able to recover it from there.

I am glad this worked out for you.

I too had deleted something that I had not put near as much effort into as it looks like you did and was surprised that Verbum didn't ask are you sure? (I always leave that option on in other software).

Hopefully you were able to recover yours too. "Confirm delete" would be a good option, but it wouldn't have saved me: in most software, I turn that optiont off. I remembered there was an undelete somewhere, but I'd never noticed that little trash can.

I really appreciate the support Logos gives, including the knowledge and responses of MVPs like MJ.
