Media Tool- Graphic Orientation

I am not sure if this has been asked but I uploaded a personal picture of a Christmas tree in portrait and when it uploaded to "user media" area it shows as landscape, which makes the tree sideways. Is there anyway to change this. Thank you for the help. Smile

I have solved this, in the distant past by editing the original to be 90deg behind. Uploading then sets it the right way up.

For a more forensic diagnosis you would need to tell us which software the image came from and details of you operating system.

Thanks for the help Mike but I got it to work. After trying what you suggested I decided to resize the picture and that seem to work.
