Just checking to see if you're paying attention...sorry...[:$]
The suspense is killing me....I had to do something to pass the time....

Well, you made me smile! [:D] But at least you can play with 4.0c SR1, now!
FWIW, that was a playful growl.
Todd,
I know you well enough to know that... [;)]

Oh sure, everything is fun and games until someone gets carpal tunnel syndrome from typing "Update Now" 6,254 times...

Paul,
Carpal was about 72 hours ago....now it's full blown paralysis...I had to teach my pug to hit the enter key by putting a beggin strip on it.....

Bob,
I tried something similar, but my cat ended up changing my preferred resources when I wasn't looking.
No matter how I try and convince him, he still a KJVO cat (and thinks everyone else should be too).
Robert hangs after mob forming post.
After restarting my logos because update now did not work, I decided to check the forum post. [:'(] LOL
Not sure what the trouble is. I've had no problem with 4.0d. Loving the new surprise feature! It will be a major hit!
Loving the new surprise feature!
The new invisible upgrade? Needs no download, restart or version-number change ...
Also, introduces no new bugs!
You guys all crack me up....this thread was a much needed chuckle...and the KJVO cat put it over the top....
Here ruckman, ...here ruckman ruckman....here boy! [Y]
It occurs to me that probably there's another update channel besides the two we know about for the guys inside Logos to install pre-beta versions. Has anyone spent some time trying to set their update channel to "alpha" or "dogfood" or something like that? LOL.

Imagine the top post in the Dogfood Forum ...
IMPORTANT: Logos 4 Beta Dogfood releases are beta unreleased software. They may will corrupt your computer or and delete your data. The Passage Guide, searching, or viewing books may will stop working. We don't recommend installing Logos 4 dogfood on any machine.
A Logos 4 beta dogfood release cannot be installed side-by-side with another version of Logos 4; it will replace your existing installation. (However, since Logos 4 uses a per-user installation, you can create a new Windows user account on your computer and install the Logos 4 Beta Dogfood under that account for testing, but it will trash everything!)
Logos 4 Betas Dogfood cannot be downgraded to a stable release. You will need to uninstall, delete all Logos4 folders, then reinstall the stable release if you no longer wish to run a Logos 4 Dogfood.

Thanks for the laugh... on reflection, I've decided to set my update channel back to normal for the weekend... at last, I can claim I'm normal in some way! [:D]

Oh my. I guess the cat is out of the bag now…
I can't get the 9902 update to install ... [:(]
I have an old Microsoft Book. Title somethng like "The design of Windows NT" by Dave Cutler. One of the key guys behind Windows NT way back when it was at version 3.1 or so. In that book, there is a lot of talk about dogfood.
In that context, the developers would be upgrading daily or so to the latest build. The idea was the developers get to eat their own dogfood. They paid the price if they built bad code.
It won't be long before the Logos4 build number hits the Y2K-style limit of 9999 and we see what happens next. I hope the carry-bit got connected somewhere ...
What's with L4.0d? I can't wait for L4E!!![:D]
What's with L4.0d? I can't wait for L4E!!!
Now that's funny...we are already tired of a release that doesn't even exist!
4.0d does exist. Its just that the stingy people at logos are not sharing.
It's been almost six months since we went this long without a beta. [:(]
I getting a little itchy...
If you want, I could fake release 4.0e....
Paul, If you want, I could fake release 4.0e....
You know Bob, that might be somewhat satisfying, but way too cruel to the unsuspecting. [6]
I guess either Mark faked the 4.04.3.9902 screen or they shutdown the "catfood" channel as soon as we figured it out. I'm wondering if Bob is amused by all this.
