Originally, we had defined the Ancient Manuscript resource type to identify any non-Biblical original languages or transliteration texts originally written before AD 100, but now we are expanding this definition to include texts from AD 476 or earlier. This new definition will match with how Ancient History is defined up until the fall of Rome (AD 476). This change will affect a large number of Monographs that will be changed into Ancient Manuscript type in the coming weeks. On the same line, we will follow the same standards for the translations of these texts and update them to Ancient Manuscript Translations type.
