I, and others, argued with Phil Gons over the categories for classifying commentaries when they were first assigned. Generally, I leaned towards a more detailed classification. I've given it time and have grown even more convinced we need a category for catena/reception history commentaries. They have their own set of practices on when you use them and how you use them.
