Ages ago I used to teach from the OT Made Simple workbook by Melvin Short. It broke down the basics of the OT at a macro level such as the 20 key people of the OT, the 3 major divisions of the OT, the 7 major moves of the people, etc. That book is out of print and its also really dated(it refers to the Persian Gulf War as a current event.)
I'd like to teach from something like that again, something for beginner lay people that would give them a framework so that as they read the OT they understand kind of where and when they are in the history. Any suggestions?
