Honestly, I think this may be a UK / USA misunderstanding. I do not know what an "unexpanded TLA" is, but I do know that on this side of the pond Evangelical Theological Society, Society of Biblical Literature, and American Academy of Religion each recently held annual conferences which prompted some Faithlife collections.
No, David Hell is too good for those who assume folk know what every three letter acronym (TLA) stands for. Ok Christian might have other good attributes that mitigate the effects of his misdemeanour but the forums are rife with their misuse and it drives me to distraction. Most of the time the expansion is only a copy and paste away.
And yes it was a poor attempt at humour.

So far I'm seeing daily Kindle deals but nothing at Faithlife. It always surprises me that Christian publishers seem to prioritise Amazon. I guess sales must favour that route, but it would nice if they at least recognised the importance of Christian ebook vendors too.

Agreed, this is one of the better sales that Logos does since it usually offers pretty steep discounts on new products as well (as in, released in the current year), not just older ones. Last year the discounts were 40 to 50% off, so I wound up picking up quite a lot. It’d be a shame if they skipped doing the sale this year.

Our disappointed should probably be directed at the publishers. I'm always surprised they seem to prioritize Amazon over Christian vendors like Faithlife. I picked up some amazing deals because they were simply too good - like The Story of God series for $3.99 each. But I'd far rather have paid a little more and bought through Faithlife.

Just saw that the ETS / SBL sale is live now on that "other" platform.
With ETS kicking off next week, does anyone know if Logos is going to bring this sale back this year? This was always one of the higher discount sales they offered, and it was a huge bummer that they only put a handful of VERY expensive collections on sale last year, instead of the individual resources they had done in previous years during the sale.

I was looking to see if they had anything in the pipeline for the ETS/SBL this year. I bought 5 new resources from the other guys sale today and a few from last weeks sale, Logos is slipping.

Is it Logos slipping or Logos being forgotten by the publishers?
It frustrates me that Logos often seem to be overlooked on e-book sales too by the publishers when they're happy to extend a sale to Amazon, with whom they surely make a lower margin.

I spent quite a bit on these resources this month at the other site’s sale. Wish I could’ve gotten them in logos, but it was worth it to get them for the sale prices there.

Accordance needs the sale Logos doesn’t 😂 Soon there might not be an elsewhere to go to.
I haven’t spent a penny over there for well over a year and a half, probably close to two. I hope they can turn it around, but I have seen this sort of thing over the last 25 years. V 14 was released over two years ago and they still have not finished delivering all the features that was advertised with the release. Where else would consumers accept this? 🤷🏻♂️
