Adding previous versions with updated versions in footnotes
One of the footnotes in a book I'm currently reading references an updated version of it. I don't have that, but I do have the previous version.
I know I can copy and search the quote, but is there a way to have footnotes include previous versions as well as updated ones?
It would be a nice idea if the footnotes also reference previous versions and not just the updated ones.

This issue gets raised periodically (probably most commonly for BAGD vs BDAG, e.g., https://feedback.logos.com/boards/logos-mobile-app/posts/bdag-not-linked-to-bagd) and I can see how it would be very useful (particularly when the cited resource can no longer be purchased). However, we need to leave the citation the way the author wrote it; the revised edition of the work that the author cited may have reworded, edited, or even deleted the cited text. Adding a link to the new edition would probably require a manual review of each citation to ensure that it's still accurate, which isn't really feasible.

Makes sense. Seems like a lot of work as well.
