Ok, this can't be this hard...

I'm in Judith 1.15 in The Apocrypha: The Lutheran Ed: Notes. When I hover over the 1.15 in the Notes, a text box appears that shows the same comments. However, when I click on the 1.15 I can not step to 1.15 in "The Apocrypha: The Luthern Edition: Text." Nothing happens.
I know it's not this hard. What am I doing wrong?
mm.

Well, the first thing you are doing wrong is using one of those new fangled truncated Bibles … cheaper to prints I'll admit but …😂 Okay, the reference to Judith 1:15 is a Bible reference so Logos is going to you highest priority Bible … and doesn't find the passage. I don't know why it didn't continue down the priority list until it found it but …
To get it to work as you expected, you need to use advanced prioritization to link the apocryphal references in the Notes to the Lutheran text.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

haha. So when you say "advanced" prioritization are you simply saying, move my Luthern editions "higher" than, let's say, Brenton's LXX? Which I have done.

I can't find it in the wiki but from Help
Advanced Prioritization
By default, resources in the priority list can catch hyperlinks with any of the milestone indexes it has.
For example, if Enhanced Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Lexicon (BDB) is the top prioritized Hebrew lexicon in the Library, it might also open links for Strong’s and TWOT numbers. This is because BDB has multiple milestone indexes, which means it can handle many different kinds of hyperlinks. If it handles the hyperlink before Strong’s does, then the hyperlink will only go to BDB and never make it to Strong’s.
Advanced prioritization can fix conflicts like these. To take advantage of this feature, follow the steps below:
- Add a resource to the priority list as described above.
- Right-click it and select Set Prioritization Limits (Advanced).
- A form expands beneath the item. Fill in one of the blanks to limit the prioritization of this resource so it only applies to:
• hyperlinks from a certain data type; for example, users can set BDB to only take Hebrew;
• hyperlinks in a limited range; for example, users can set a Greek New Testament so that it only opens links from the Gospel of John;
• hyperlinks originating in a given resource; for example, users can set a particular commentary to handle links from the Septuagint.Logos Help (Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, 2024).

And there is further information on advanced prioritisation at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019683652-Prioritize-Books#advanced

I don’t necessarily know if this would make a difference, but if you put another work that includes Judith, does it do the expected behavior? It will help to see if it’s a problem caused by the specific resource or something happening with Logos as a whole. I would check on my computer, but I’m fairly certain I don’t have that resource.

When I prioritize Benton's LXX En: The LXX version with Apocrypha, that works.
When I prioritize the Luthern Apocrypha with Text, that DOES NOT work.
I'll just keep trying to figure it out.
thanks.

Thanks Graham, I'm still struggling with the search for support materials …
