Can I have Verbum and Logos Pro @ the same time?

Can I have both of these on a desktop or are they not compatible with each other?

If I can, how would I install Verbum - if that makes any sense?

You can install a Logos app. You can install a Verbum app. Both are fine if you want. They'll have approximately the same libraries (yours).

But you have to pick which subscription. Only one. Not two.

So, if I want to keep Logos Pro, then no Verbum? Correct?

True. MJ and others have questioned the policy.

I have wished for a long time that Logos would allow us to have "multiple instances" of Logos running at the same time, especially for those of us that have multiple monitors. In the past, one could run Verbum and then run Logos to accomplish this, but that changed with subscriptions.

Me too. Maybe it is not technically achievable? One scenario some folks might like: Logos as a subscription, Pro, Max, whatever. Verbum "frozen" at V10 to be able to switch to. Not something I would want but I could see some wanting that based on comments on the forums.

That'd be great. Keep my Verbum frozen, with an up to date Logos!

No it didn't. You can still run them side by side. What changed was that they share a feature set. You run either the Verbum feature set or the Logos feature set. You can no longer switch between them to identify differences.

Just to clarify - you can run both Logos and Verbum but you are limited to one feature set that will be used by both.

@MJ. Smith so the one feature set is your Logos Feature Set run in the Logos install and the Verbum Feature Set runs in the Verbum install - not you have to pick either the Logos or Verbum install to use in both installs?

No, you own one Feature set - you can run Logos and/or Verbum with the Logos feature set if that is what you own OR you can run Logos and/or Verbum with the Verbum feature set if that is what you own but you can no longer own/rent both the Logos and the Verbum feature set to include all features offered.

Oh! I was hoping that wasn't the case, though I did read you post that way…. So what about the users who do own both, but cannot access the Features they own but are missing due to that decision???

It isn't retroactive - the feature you own work as they always have - a few Logos features are unavailable in Verbum.
