How to make notes about the book itself?

Is there a way to add my own notes about a book or resource? Like add comments to the information section? For example, when I compare comparable resources and determine my personal pros/cons, I want to record my notes about the book. I have memory issues so it's super hard to remember my own opinions about my many, many books.

Obviously, I can keep a separate Word doc but I am hoping for a more integrated solution. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

You can anchor notes to a book. I make a notebook for each book as I read through it, and within that, add anchors to specific spots in the book.

Here's a quick screenshot of a note with an anchor.

I break the rules and use the Series field. I don't recommend it! But my rating and comments are great in my library, for prioritizing subjects and good discussion.

I completely misunderstood the question—my bad! I sometimes use tags, though I've never thought about using the series field.

I think tags are the suggested method, but obviously don't give long form detail. When I want to make detailed notes about a book, I use the title page as an anchor, and use chapter headings as anchors for chapter summaries. Your mileage may vary.

Lexham Survey of Theology: Here I, by topic, type out which pages to see in which book. Yeah, its cumbersome, but important stuff is congealed somewhere, at least.

Thanks everyone! Creating a note for a resource with an anchor to the title page is a great solution. In fact, I had thought of that but could not figure out how to create an anchor to the entire resource, so I thought it was a nogo. I still can't figure out the exact so that the anchor is to the resource. But I can fiddle with it and get it to work!
