BUG: Person coding for Tobit screwed up in the Book of Tobit - NRSV, NRSVue . . .

Yes, I did reindex the Bibles but that did not improve the results. A Bible search on person:Tobit yields only 12 results - missing even some "Tobit's" i.e. reference by proper name not by implication. This is the second time in the last 12 hours where data bugs have stopped my work dead in its tracks.

UPDATE; IT gets worse. A search for Susanna, daughter of Hilkiah returns NO results. Yes, I am searching all passages.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Dave's answer is correct. The underlying issue is using different Septuagint corpuses for alignment work.

I've been slow to respond because I wanted to have a more substantial answer than that but we're still debating next steps for what needs to be done. (And I still haven't found a satisfactory answer to why it returns any results. I'm fairly certain it's related to various recensions of texts for Tobit but I'm not 100% certain.)

Expanding coverage in the Deuterocanon is one of our major themes/priorities for 2025 so this is right in line with that effort.

NRSV and NABRE align to different Septuagint Bibles which don't actually align to the English translation used and …it is a confusing mess with the tagging!

This is good to hear. What is sad is that I've used the search data in broader contexts simply assuming it was the same quality as the other tagging.
