How to remove a highlight from my notebook

Hello!
So I am having an issue with the highlighting function in the Desktop Logos App for Windows. I have some passages that I highlighted, and then later removed the highlight because I didn't need them highlighted anymore. However, in the notebook function when I pull up all my highlighted passages, these passages are still there. They no longer look highlighted, but when I pull up all the highlighted passages in that Bible, they are still there. Is there any way to fix this?

Welcome to the forums, James. In Logos, every highlight automatically creates a note. While some find this annoying, one advantage is that you can easily add thoughts to any highlight via the notes tool. There is no way to change this functionality. Removing the highlight from the book directly will cause the highlight to no longer display, but it will not delete the note that the highlight created.

If your intention is to entirely delete the highlight along with its connected note, it is best to do this via the Notes tool. You can use filters to locate the highlights you are interested in deleting. If deleting a single note, you can click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and select "Delete this note". If deleting multiple notes at once, you can hold Ctrl or Shift to select multiple notes and then click "Delete selected notes" at the bottom.
