BUG: Remove "AI Credits" from Menu Bar?

Logos AI Credits icon.png

I have Logos 10 (39.1.6) and do not have a subscription. Therefore, I do not have AI credits. However, there is an icon on my menu bar showing me "monthly AI credits" which I am not subscribed to. Therefore, this icon is useless for me but it takes up valuable room on my menu bar and is also a distraction. I would like to remove it (toggle it on or off like some other items) but cannot find how to do that. Is it possible for me to remove this icon and replace it with something useful to me with my setup? This icon showed up once before but Logos evidently removed it for non-subscribers until a recent update. Now it has returned. Can it be removed or toggled?

Edit: I have added this screenshot to show what I am talking about. I am using Logos 10 on a MacBook. It is not a tragedy forme, only something I would rather be able to remove since I don't have or use Logos AI. Thanks for all your comments.

    What platform and application? On the desktop it takes no additional space but is a simply added bit of information on the status icon.

    @Ken Blackwood

    Hello Ken, looks like it might very well be a bug. If you change the title of your post so something like "BUG: AI credits icon appearing in non-subscribers menu bar" someone from Logos will find it more easy to identify the post amongst all the others. I think you only have 24 hrs to edit a post. In the event you don't make it in time you could post again with the "BUG:" prefix which I believe Logos people look for.

    This is not a bug. Logos 10 FFS owners do have AI credits that reset monthly. When it resets, the AI counter will disappear until you use credits again. Translation uses AI credits. There may be other L10 features that use AI credits as well.

    There has been a lot of discussion about the idea of being able to toggle the AI counter on and off.

    I thought some interested person would have made a feedback request for other to vote up but I can't seem to find one. I don't want to turn it off, I like it.

    I despise the whole idea of AI credits. Counting how many times you search or use AI runs against the core intention of bible study. It looks like a way to squeeze your pocket even more. It is so disgraceful.

    I have the same problem and I want to remove this horrible AI counting

    Thanks for your comment. I don't personally hate the idea, and I understand that there is a limit because of the capability at the moment. I expect the whole credits issue to disappear in the future. My personal issue was just that it was on my menu, even though it had no use or meaning for me. But recently, the AI credits button has disappeared from my menu, so evidently, the issue has been resolved. At least, I hope so. I am good for now.

    I think it should only appear within a month if you use credits if some way.

    So if, for example, you use the Auto-Translate capability (which consumes credits) the indication should reappear. But it will be reset at the end of each month's cycle.

    Everything costs money; if they don't limit it, then Logo's cost could go through the roof, which in turn would be passed on to us.If you are one that hits the limits each month, then a complaint may be valid; if not, you despise something that doesn't affect you.
