Hi Everyone,

I have a couple of highlight questions.

First, my Greek text has a bunch of random highlights which I never put there. They almost seem to be some sort of community highlight, but that wouldn't make sense, so I am not sure what they are.

Second, I was making a few highlights in the ESV, and then I started noticing that as I did, Logos was ALSO highlighting the corresponding word in Greek, which is adding to the mysterious "community highlights." Is there a way for highlights to be version specific?

Third, is there a way to quickly hide or show highlights? I like highlights for certain purposes, but sometimes I need a clean text.

Fourth, apart from showing or hiding highlights, is there a way

Fifth, this isn't really a highlight question, but I am not sure what to call it. In Accordance they have this "cross highlight" feature where I can hover over a random word, which temporarily puts the word in a blue background to show where my mouse is, but it ALSO does this to the corresponding word in Greek. I find this super helpful to find words quickly in one version when I am reading another. Is there a Logos equivalent to this?

Can you post a screenshot showing what you are describing?

Highlights are actually tied to a specific version - but you can enable these highlights to also appear in corresponding texts. To disable this, you can turn off the corresponding highlight option in the Notes Tab in the toolbar.

Highlights are typically stored in notebooks - and, particularly if you want the ability to turn them off / on it is important you do have them in notebooks. Then these notebooks can be turned on / off (in the menu shown above - above the corresponding text one outlined in blue)

This is enabled in the Corresponding words section of the Formatting / Emphasize tab

Ok, I found that as well. :) And that also answer the next question about missing anything, setting addressed both of those.

Regarding the screenshot, I am actually meaning something different. In your screenshot you are hovering over a specific word of "flesh" in Rom 8:5, and yet σάρξ is highlighted in the chapter everywhere it occurs. I am rather using this feature in Accordance to find my place. For example, when I am teaching I am using a random translation with my students, maybe the ESV or NIV or whatever, but I always have the Greek or Hebrew in parallel which my students don't see, but I have viewable. So then we are reading along in some random English Bible and I need to quickly look at something in the Greek, I can just hover over a random word in the text and it will immediately show me where I am in the Greek. I have also used this before when I am reading the NIV with students and I just want to quickly read something in the ESV. Just using the cross-highlight feature I can find my place in under a second. I will attach a picture of what it looks like in Accordance, and I will use the same word for reference. Is there a way to mimic this?
