why do my word docs load wrong in sermon manager?

I usually use Word to write out my messages, highlighting and bulletpointing as I go. But when I cut and paste it into Sermon Manager, it comes out jumbled, and I have to spend an hour fixing it. I do not remember this happening before the changeover. What am I doing wrong?

You need to import it into sermon manager. Don't copy and paste. The three dots icon in the top right corner of the Sermon Manager has the import option, which brings this up

I do not see an import icon when I press the three dots. I see an export/print but no import…

    Jonathon,

thanks I completely misunderstood. I was trying for a doc I had made. I see you do it from the main sermon manager page and it creates the whole thing. Very good info and it worked!! Thanks a bunch

I'm glad it worked. I spent years copying and pasting in from Word and then redoing the format. I quite literally face-palmed when I discovered importing .docx into sermon manager…

I am going to try this from now on and see if it eliminates my copying from Word issues.

It works! Thank you for pointing that out. I will use this when I can. Sometimes, though, I still need to copy and paste from Word into a Sermon. Hopefully, a solution will be introduced.

Yes I am glad I asked. I just wished I had asked sooner.
