Command Search to supplement menus

I am sure I posted about this but I cannot find it - sorry for duplication. Freeplane mindmap app and libreoffice has a feature that lets you wade thru their menus - which are extensive - without having to actually use the menus or memorize hotkeys. In Freeplane it is called "Command Search".

I made a video tutorial about Freeplane's version. I really think this would be a useful addition to Logos.(If you watch the video I advise changing the playback speed to at least 1.25 - I talk slowly.) It would be especially useful to me if I could turn off all menus and use Command Search exclusively.

Below is a screenshot from the video. It shows Command Search exposing commands in preferences, the menus, and icons. In Logos, I envision mostly or exclusively in the menus. FP's Command Search functionality lets you quickly, easily, and efficiently access any command thru either with the mouse or the keyboard.

I wish Command Search functionality was available in all programs.

As an alternative to a whole new structure like command search (which I still think would be a great Logos feature), It would be helpful for me in using the toolbar if I could open a search box (maybe by right-clicking on the toolbar area) and then typing something like "footnote" and be taken directly to the appropriate tab and option - in this case : Formatting > Reformat text > Bible text > footnote indicators.
