add a parallel on the web

Member Posts: 597 ✭✭✭

I am trying the web version for the first time, but I can't figure out how to add a parallel Bible. :( It opened to the ESV, but I need the Hebrew / Greek as a parallel.

Could someone please explain how to add a parallel Bible on the web version?

Thank you.

You can (1) open your modern translation and (2) open your original language editions, then (3) use "Link set" under the home menu of each window to make them part of the same sync. group. This will cause the texts to scroll together.

    Hi @Francis ,

Thank you so much! I had been looking for the normal parallel thing like the app version, so I will stop looking for it. Thank you for your help!

@Kristin It's the cover image icon to the left of the box with the current position.

    Hi @Andrew Batishko,

Would you mind posting a screenshot of what you mean? I can't find what you are referring to.

    Hi @Andrew Batishko,

Thank you for the screenshot. If I click on that image my only option is to change the version. There does not appear to be another option to add a parallel. The "link set" Francis mentioned above sort of works, but seems to miss some of the features of an actual parallel like in the app version.

You are correct! My apologies. I got confused. The web application doesn't have an option for viewing resources in parallel. You will have to use link sets as Francis mentioned.
