Bugs on Android devices after the update to Version 40.0.0

How are you?
I would like to report a bug after updating to version 40.0.0 on the Android system. Therefore, after this version, I cannot change books (study Bibles, commentaries, etc. in Insights). Sometimes when I change the screen format (vertical to horizontal) the book changes. However, this does not always happen. Please fix the corresponding bug, as I use this tool a lot, and it is also complicated to pay for a subscription and not be able to use all the benefits.

NOTE: I have already sent two emails and so far we have not resolved the issue (02/02/2025 and 05/02/2025). They sent two updates after this information, but they did not resolve the corresponding bug.

    Hi @Marco Barbosa - and welcome to the forums

    I think I see the same behaviour but if I try to change a book - such as a study Bible - and then move to another verse and re-open the Insights panel, the book has been updated.

    Do you see something similar?

    And it looks like there is the same issue on both Android and iOS

    I hadn't tested it this way, as my usage habits are different, but I did as you instructed and it happened exactly as you described.

    And for any developers seeing this, the problem persists in 41.0.0 beta.

    @Marco Barbosa, thanks for the report! We will ship a fix for this on Android, it is also already fixed on our v41 beta.

    Sorry - I've just tested this again on 41.0.0 (19) on my iPhone and it works fine.

    I don't know what has changed - but all looks good!

    @Marco Barbosa this should be fixed in 40.0.3.
