I only have a small main drive and wish to store Logos books on an external drive. If this possible? If so, how? Thanks
The most easy way is to do a complete install of Logos on an external SSD (make sure it is NTFS formatted). This solution is not officially supported by Logos (and the possible but more complex separation of program and resources is not supported either), but works without any issues.
You can do this using the steps below. This was discussed on this forum - you can search for "mklink"
Note that the Resources folder is not the only one which potentially takes a lot of space, e.g. the LibraryCatalog and LibraryIndex folders could also use significant space. You can move them using the same method as the Resources folder.
If you want to do a complete install of Logos on an external SSD, you can search this forum for "InstallDirectory", or follow these steps: 1) for clean installation, uninstall previous Logos via Add/Remove Programs, and delete folders %LocalAppData%\Logos %LocalAppData%\Faithlife It is possible to move the installation too, without uninstalling and reinstalling - see e.g.
2) run regedit (Windows+R regedit) 3) inside regedit, create folder (if it does not already exist): HKCU\Software\Logos4 4) inside the HKCU\Software\Logos4 folder, add (or change) string "InstallDirectory" with value "E:\Logos" (or whatever is your desired path for the Logos installation) 5) run Logos installer, and it will install to the new location
That's great. Thank you both for your help.

Not necessary. The Installer has a Custom option which allows you to input the desired location. Using Regedit to change any parameter of an existing installation should be avoided.

I concur. Simply say the installer to install at e.g. G.\ if that's the external drive where you want it to live.
If you are scared about completely uninstalling Logos first, you can install Verbum onto the external drive and see that it works flawlessly, then uninstall Logos on the internal drive when you feel good about it.
That's great thank you. I am happy to do a clean install as I am setting up on a new machine. thanks

I'd like to do searches on waw-consecutive third-he verbs that end in a he (but a he that's not a pronominal suffix). Can this be accomplished through the morph search?
Is there a way to share an image from the web app (in Chrome), or do I need to screen capture and copy and image? It appears the copy / create slides / send to functions don't work. Am I missing something or is this part of a planned future feature upgrade? More broadly, it seems the web app is quite good, but does miss…

My question is for everyone: I have used my New American Standard Bible for over 25 years. I am looking for a Chronological Bible that is New American Standard. This is the version that my pastor tells me gets pretty darn close to Greek and Hebrew. English version please, I can only get closer by learning the language. I…
BDAG is the gold standard Greek Lexicon, I am aware. But sometimes I am confused about what those definitions/glosses mean in context to Bible verses. For example, BDAG gives no definition and one gloss for the word Kardia in Greek, "heart." With one gloss that cannot possibly capture this Greek meaning in English, as…
