My new books are not downloading

I bought half a dozen new books three or four days ago, and they're still "downloading." I have "Automatically Start Downloads" enabled. Nada! I typed "update now" in the Command box. Nada! I typed "update resources" in the Command box. Nada! I have never had issues with Logos until the v.40 rollout. Yes, I've updated to v.40.2.4. Before this issue, I (and many others) were experiencing LONG response times in pages/articles opening. I'm very disappointed.

Guys, I think I just figured it out. I logged out of my account and then logged back in. And behold, it was there along with the other titles. I had been shutting down the program and restarting it, thinking it would work, but it didn't. Logging out and then logging back in did. I appreciate your suggestions.

Logos team, I think you might want to take note of this.

    Hi @William Pankey,

I am sorry to hear this. :( I don't think I am missing resources, but I agree that there is something going on with this update. I used to never get that spinning wheel, but after the update Logos often freezes and I get the spinning wheel etc. I just wanted to mention this if it helps the Logos team diagnostically.

Many of you will recognize this—the "dreaded" spinning wheel. For three days???

I am not really sure what is going on. I have ordered books and they downloaded fine. I am on 40.2. The only thing I can think of is in the program settings have you accidently turned on download between specific times.

There have been cases when a corrupt download blocked this. The solution was to delete the respetive download folder in the Logos installation and then it's fine again and with the next restart everything comes easily. Maybe another MVP (like Graham or Dave) has the details.

    Try this…

    Remove from this device.

    Then….

    try downloading them again.

If you're not sure what books they are you can look here too see your latest books

James, I tried what you suggested, but it didn't work. It wasn't even an option from which to choose. The only options were the first five from the dropdown list ending with "Prioritize this book." Yes, I've tried looking from the "Resources updated in the last 7 days," and it doesn't appear there either.
