Thank you Stephan for your suggestions and issue report, I'll take note for the team to review them.

#3 should be already improved with v38 beta, where a new trash icon will make blocks easier to delete.

This is great! Will v38 beta come out by the end of the week?

Suggestion: For consistency of UI, allow opening an existing Bible Study from the Bible Study Builder tool, just as you can from Collections.

[Edit] On second thought, I understand why this may be an impractical idea, since one could have hundreds of Bible studies, but only dozens of collections. But perhaps an Open button could be available in the BSB Tool that would show the most recent Bible Studies and have a More link to go to the Documents with the Bible Studies filter selected.

    1. It would be desirable if questions were easier to add (e.g. at the end with + symbol or with shortcuts)
    2. Bullet points in the notes
    3. It is difficult to delete a block again. Why is there no right-click or three-point menu?
    4. A color design would help to better differentiate the individual blocks in the lecture (see sermon tool)
    5. It would be nice if the tab key were supported in a more meaningful way, e.g. indenting the notes
    6. I can't find any help in the Help Center under the German term Kleingruppen-Tool or under Bible Study.
    7. When I enter a verse, it is inserted as a Bible text that starts with the passage. Why is my entry not deleted? Otherwise it is always there twice!
    8. Why can't I find my notes in the Bible passage assistant when I call up the passage?

    9. on iPad it is also difficult to add text to the last question when the screen is full. The keyboard is on the way.

    10. I miss the possibility of formatting the Bible texts as in the Sermon Assistant. If I use several Bible verses in a row, they are listed in one piece, which is very difficult to read and makes it difficult to refer to individual verses.

I would like the ability to add a "Speaker Notes" block independent of the Question Block.  In other words, I would like the ability to write notes that can be hidden while exporting.

I like the new Bible Study Builder feature. Plan on using it soon. It would be nice to get the bullet points feature. Also, being able to make a template would be great.

I just used it today for the first time, when someone asked me to lead a Bible Study at very short notice. I therefore didn't experience the frustrations experienced by some users above, as they seem to have been largely resolved (with some exceptions, before someone posts a long list of unresolved issues!) I have to say, I found it a really useful tool. Although I didn't use the suggested questions in their exact format, they helped to seed some thoughts that gave me a jump start, and helped me to get the whole thing prepared far more quickly than would otherwise have been the case. The only things I thought of that would have been helpful were:

    • A quick link to the Passage Guide: as I have used this for years to prepare sermons, it is my go-to when looking at a passage, and I would have liked to just be able to click a button to open a Passage Guide for the relevant passage. This is, however, a bit picky of me, as it only takes a few seconds to open a new Passage Guide!
    • Activation of ref.ly links in the notes. As the word "righteousness" crops up in the passage, I prepared Passage Lists of all occurrences of dikaousyne in both LXX and NA28, in case we need to go down that road. Unfortunately, while "Copy Location" from the Passage Lists produced a perfectly good ref.ly link, when I paste it into the notes or into a new "normal" block, the link is not activated, regardless of typing spaces afterwards (v40.2 on Windows 11). My use case here is that I wanted to be able to pull up the Passage Lists on my iPad during the Bible Study if someone questions the use of this word elsewhere in Scripture. I can open the two Passage Lists in separate tabs in the iPad layout and simply swipe to them, but being able to click on a link would save setting that up and be really helpful.
    • Whilst I don't feel the need for full formatting capabilities like some others, bulleted and numbered lists would be really helpful.

But a really good and useful tool that certainly enabled me to get straight to preparing the study for a small group at short notice.
