will 256gb storage be enough for logos on a Macbook Air with 16gb ram.
Well, I have a MBP and 256gb with it about half full. That's mainly Logos with about 6K books, some videos/pictures, ios backups, and a few other odds/ends. Mainly Logos.
So, I'd suspect, it works out to how much VIDEO do you download … that's the biggie. Logos and your library won't eat up that much (as a percent … varies by library, but yours isn't too big).
I have a MB Air M2 with 256 GB and 8 GB of RAM. I have quite a few resources and with the other apps loaded onto the system and very few other files, I have used up about 200 GB of storage. On my PC my Logos resources take up about 86 GB of space. My total Logos installation takes up about 134 GB.
I don't use this computer very much but Logos seems to run fine on it. I wouldn't buy this configuration, as it wouldn't be enough for all I do on my laptop, but if your needs aren't great then it might be fine. I would err to the side of more storage if you can afford it. (I know its expensive on a Mac.)
In general you need at least 512 GB in order to have enough free space (SSD in particular) for Logos and other apps. My needs are modest and I use around 220 GB, so I need a drive with at least double that amount i.e. 512 GB. I actually have a 1 TB NVME drive because it is the same price, but much faster than an internal SATA SSD.
Yeah, if I was buying a new computer, I think there is a risk of not going for 512GB to future-proof it.
My Surface Pro has a 256GB SSD. With just MS Office and Logos loaded, it struggles with disk space being sufficient when indexing.
Per the title, I have some discussions like the one pictured 'muted,' yet there they are, right at the top of the list. So what does the mute button do, if it doesn't mute anything? Can we have a working mute button so that muted threads don't show up in our list, @Jason Stone (Logos) ?
John C Poitier's book, "The Invention of Inspiration . . . " explores the ancient (pre early 3rd century AD) meaning of theopneustia as in 2 Tim. 3:15-17. His conclusion is that the word meant "life giving", perhaps based originally on the creation story (God breathed into the form and it/he became a living person). He…
something changed so that I am unable to hear text to speech on the program that has on one side and ESV Bible on the other. I use the ctrl r to hear it. It works on the Truth for Today but not on the Bible side. I am not sure what changed, to cause that. Please help if possible. God Bless You.
I can change the versions that appear in the text comparison tool with no trouble. However, when I press F7 from my Bible, I do not get the versions I want to compare. How do I change the Bibles that appear when I press F7?
I have noticed that I can right click in the media tool and send that image to a sermon, word document or Power Point but cannot send it to the Bible Study Builder. Also it would be nice if the little icon in my Bible that indicates there is available media for that passage would also show up in the Mobile app
