Can the Web App Really Be Called 'Logos?'

The lack of propositional outlines in the Web app is one of about a dozen deficiencies (most of which are critical to the use of the software) that make me think it is wrong to call the web app 'Logos;' in reality, it is something significantly less.

That's it. That's the tweet.

You can always think of it as a fancy version of Biblia instead of a scaled-down Logos.

The same could be said about mobile versions since they have limitations as well. "Logos" really refers to an ecosystem which may be used on various platforms, some offering a fuller experience than others. We could call some of these Logos "Lite" but there are already so many Logos version names out there…

It is interesting that you refer to propositional outlines as critical to the use of the software. I nearly never use it. I know what it is and what it does, it's just not very useful to me and not a feature I'd consider critical. What I am saying is that what one considers critical may vary. Logos has feature usage stats they can use to prioritize what they want to invest development money and time in to bring the web app up to par, along with other considerations such as improving the overall user-friendliness of the platform.

For my part, I both like the improvement of the web app in the last year and the fact that it is not as competent as the desktop version. I'd hate to see a day when the desktop app is deprecated in favor of an online-only web app. This could happen if the web app catches up since it would allow all features to live in the Cloud.

That being said, I think you and others should not hesitate to tell Logos which features you feel would be most essential to have available next on the web app.
