why are emails formatted differently depending on the thread?

I have notifications set to receive emails with comments of bookmarked threads, and it does that.

However, sometimes when I get an email it says someone commented and shows a preview of what they said, while other times I get an email simply saying someone commented, but it does not show a preview of what was said.

I assume there is a reason why it either does or does not show a preview, but I can't figure it out. I admit this isn't important, I am just curious.

Thanks for any ideas anyone has.

I suspect @Jason Stone (Logos) will need to answer this, as he has access to how things are configured and there is ongoing development.

I'd have to take a look at the different emails and/or your notification settings to understand a bit better. Would you mind forwarding two different examples to community@logos.com when you have a moment? I'd like to review them in order to know if we are missing something somewhere.
