I Can't sign into Logos at all. I have to have admin rights which on don't have on my laptop

Can someone please help!
This has only just started being a problem yesterday. I use Logos every day and since the new update I haven't had any problem.
My Admin person just open logos as the administrator but it's now not the newest version. It doesn't have smart search etc. It's back at an old version.

Hey Sonya,
Are you able to open Logos? If you click the 3-dot menu in the lower left corner and select About Logos, what version does it list under Software?

40.2
40.2.4Thank you for responding.
Very strangley though it is only showing the previous version even though this is the updated verson number if I'm correct.
At the moment I'm only able to get into it because our admin signed in and it's running through administrator. Which means I can't close it or turn off my laptop.

Was it installed using admin priviliges?
If so, I recommend installing without those privileges as Logos is designed to run in user-mode

I just uninstalled and reinstalled it again. And it won't even show up anywhere. It simply won't load when I click the logos icon

I believe the problem you were likely experiencing is not that you were running a previous version of Logos, but that you were not logged in to the correct account. Logos will still open when one is not logged in to the account that is subscribed, but it will open to the free version. This is technically the same version of Logos, but it lacks many of the features, such as Smart search.
It may be necessary for the person with admin privileges to be present to uninstall Logos properly. However, you should reinstall as Graham suggested without using admin privileges. Perhaps giving tech support a call to walk you through the process step by step would prove helpful.

I appreciate everyone's help. And it's very difficult to explain.
The reinstall was without admin. I was on with tech support before going to my admin. Hopefully it can be resolved soon.
My admin guy said he thinks it is that the default of it running as an admin maybe has a glitch somewhere in this new update. Even with his admin though, it was my old version set up prior to the March update.
I'm waiting for tech to call me back

@Aaron Hamilton Just out of curiosity, how would I know if it's the free version? Thanks for your help

That same About Logos screen should display the account you are using to access Logos. Under Subscription it will say None if you are not logged into an account that is subscribed.

My laptop did a restart overnight and so now I can't access the app at all to even check. Hoping for a quick solution - am missing the features…

Do you mean that the icon has disappeared or that when you click the icon nothing happens?
If the icon has disappeared can you find and start Logos from the list of installed applications?

@Graham Criddle nothing happens when I click the icon

I'm actually thinking it is a bug in the bible study builder. It was the first time I used it. And now even using it online it is glitching for me. It seems to be after a certain point in the study and I can't move a block around. I'm going to switch to using Sermon Builder and see if I have the same problem.
*Sermon builder is working online.
**I have premium subscription

That would not impact whether you were able to start Logos or not.
Please enable diagnostic logging as outlined here and upload logs in a reply to this thread after trying to start Logos

It seems you are on a Client/Server network with Admin that may restrict access to the Internet at your place of work. If Logos is installed by Admin can you access it at home? Can you use it at work?
Can you install any software at work?
