Sentence Diagramming Tool

I decided to try out the SD tool today.
What a disaster. I can't believe they published something this bad.
Why would I say that?
- working in the tool is clunky (to put it nicely)
- using text tools (font, color, HL, etc.) is slow and works inconsistently
- added shapes do not group with the text, so if something is changed, the entire diagram has to be manually reworked
- I can't print nor can I export the finished product
- copying and pasting from the tool doesn't work and crashes Logos every time I try
This tool should be deprecated until it is marginally functional.
(I'm on 40.2.4, Logos Max, on Win10.)

Canvas has been used as an alternative. Not that I care for it myself, but some seem to like it.

The sentence diagrammer has not been updated since the ability to do tree diagrams was added many years ago. My requests for updates/use of 3rd party software have not garnered many votes so it apparently is not a priority among users.

With Biblearc out there, Logos may never develop this tool. Unfortunate.

This is such a useful tool. Maybe now would be a good time to start a new request for updates. I haven't used the Logos tool in depth yet on my Mac but I haven't seen any crashes? Is this specific to Windows? Just curious.

4. I can't print nor can I export the finished product
Ctrl+P
to Print (or using the Panel Menu) works for me on Windows. What happens when you try to print?(Forgive the "diagram", I just inserted a passage then randomly added some shapes…)
5. copying and pasting from the tool doesn't work and crashes Logos every time I try
I'm able to drag a selection around shapes (or press
Ctrl+A
to select them all) then pressCtrl+C
to copy, which puts an image on the clipboard. I haven't been able to make it crash; can you provide some more specific steps to reproduce the problem?0 -
@Bradley Grainger (Logos) Thank you for looking at this. Are you doing this on a Mac or Windows?

I was testing on Windows. I'm not aware of any differences in this tool between macOS and Windows, though.
