    What Bible Card in Insights?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

The Bible Card shows when you're in study Bibles, commentaries, and original language Bibles.

In an ancient language Bible, we'll show you an English translation in the card. The fix means that we now consider the type of ancient language Bible that was. So, if you're reading a Greek Septuagint, the Bible card will show you an English translation of the Septuagint (e.g., LES or NETS) rather than just a regular English Bible. If you're reading the Vulgate, we'll show you an English translation based on the Vulgate (e.g., Douay-Rheims).

I'm sure you'll notice that a limitation is that the card is only aware when the entire English Bible is based on a specific ancient language Bible. If an English Bible is translated from a mix of the Masoretic and LXX texts, we won't show those Bibles in the Bible card for the Septuagint. We'll only show those Bibles that are entirely translated from the LXX.

Thank you. I hadn't tried Insights on non-Bible types so I missed it.

The latest update includes an AI search box on the home screen. Since everything on my home screen is customizable, I'm assuming I can remove this if I want? How do I do this, can't find the option?

I didn't participate in the beta testing of the new search bar, but during my experimentation today, I have not found a way to remove it from the dashboard. It's not a big deal for me because I don't use the dashboard very much myself.

It's not something that can be removed but I can share with the team this feedback.

Yes, please share, thanks. Unlike Donovan, the dashboard is a big deal for me, and this search bar all up in my face is quite distracting.

Yes, since everything else on the homepage is customizable, it would be nice if this was too… not sure why but "settings" and "options" seem to be left out of more and more updates.
