Screen goes blank in mobile app

I have my ESV Bible and my Journal notes - both are open and readable.
I want to write something in the note file but when I begin to type the screen goes blank.
When I attempt to open up another resource the resource opens with a blank screen.
What is going on?

I am using an iPad Pro with the latest update from Logos and Apple.

I've had a similar problem with mine (iPad) recently. I chalked it up to a slow wi-fi connection. Perhaps Joe has the same issue, or perhaps it isn't related.
In addition to blank tabs (these were downloaded bibles), the app would occasionally crash and shut down.
Eating a steady diet of government cheese, and living in a van down by the river.
