A second post in a peer-to-peer forum for a matter that can only be addressed by Logos/Faithlife is inappropriate. Fellow users have no ability to help you.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

No, it’s been stated from the beginning that subscriptions are non-refundable.

I messaged just less than 10 minutes after I was charged in my card.

I asked for reconsideration right away since I just forgot to cancel it and I will be needing my funds for my purchase of my engagement ring scheduled for pickup the next day.

I also explained that next day was also my birthday.

I have received a google form for reasons to be filled and to be read by the supervisors.

But as I get back to me, they said unfortunately they can't :(

I kept following my emails , sending the screenshot of my bank account, sending also the screenshot of my conversation with the owner of the jewelry store.

However they still rejected my refund huhuhu

Dispute it with your credit card company.

Birthdays, jewelry purchases, and bank account statements have no bearing on Logos' return policy. It sounds like a final decision has been made. You can cancel your subscription today if you haven't already to avoid future charges.

I used Paypal, is there a hope in a dispute with Paypal?

I understand sir, I am just hoping because they gave me a form that they said reached their supervisors, that form had a question: "are there extenuating circumstances we should be aware about because this is outside of 30 day policy"

Marcus, if Logos were to reconsider their decision based on your explanation of extenuating circumstances, I believe that would be a welcome outcome. Many of us have faced challenging financial situations, and sometimes our own actions—or inactions—have unfortunately made them worse.

That said, I don’t believe it would be morally appropriate to pursue a dispute with PayPal in this case. I reviewed their dispute policy, and it outlines only three qualifying reasons: (1) an unauthorized transaction, (2) an item not received, or (3) an item significantly not as described. None of these apply to the way Logos has handled your transaction.

In my view, your most appropriate recourse is the appeal you’ve already made directly to Logos. I sincerely hope it leads to a positive resolution for you. And whatever the outcome, I trust that God can bring good even from difficult situations. Please don’t let desperation lead to a course of action that could be unfair to others.

this is what I'm actually praying for since their last email says their superiors have denied the refund. I have told them everything again to please reconsider because I really do not have anything in my bank account right now.

I have sent them screenshots of my bank account and all.

I am also asking the reason behind their denial.

As of now I am still waiting... and hoping…

Thank you for your response and I will not pursue dispute with Paypal.
