BUG: "Send Hyperlinks Here" Is Still Unreliable

This bug has existed since Logos 4 was first released. Randomly clicking on a Bible reference will open a new tab in some random local rather than the hyperlink going to the Bible in already open tab with "Send Hyperlinks Here" selected.

This is extremely annoying and distracting when this happens. Since the new tab will often split a pane, I have to not only close the unwanted tab, but also resize the pane that was split.

I not sure this is the same problem as you are referencing but: if you click on a reference in Logos and move the mouse while doing so, if only a little, it counts as a "click-drag" which causes the reference to be opened in a new pane rather than your already open Bible. It doesn't require much movement at all for this to happen, so it can seem like a glitch.

It took me many years to figure this out.

If that's the issue, it should be an easy fix then: just increase the tolerance for clicks, especially for touch screens.

I have experienced this also on Mac.
