To change Logos to the beta channel, enter the command Set update channel to beta in the Command Box. (Please see beta warnings and risks.)

To immediately update Logos (if it is already set to beta channel), enter the Update Now command. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it's scheduled to check for updates.

Is the New Tab feature missing from the release notes? I know it is mentioned as a seperate post but for completion… etc.

Thanks for fixing the Copy Link feature where it would convert the link to a resource into a bible verse link for your top bible. I found that I could keep using it by moving the page slightly so it wasn't sitting at the line where the verse was mentioned but bette to have it resolved

@Matt Mattox It would appear another issue I reported to the Customer Service email address may have been fixed.

If I had a sub toolbar open, like Home, and clicked on the Info button, on closing out of Info the sub-toolbar would be closed and I would need to open it again.

That does not seem to be happening in the new beta release

Yes, we are working on getting the copy down and we'll update the release note.

New Tab release note has been added. I'll paste the copy below as well for convenience.

    New Tab

We’ve reimagined the New Tab panel for the first time for Logos Desktop and our web app.

    • New tab gives you faster, more flexible access to the tools and resources you use most. It helps you quickly switch between tools, filter results by reference, and access the right resources in just a few clicks. Read more in our discussion here.
      • Everything View
        • Quickly access recently opened tools, documents, resources, and more! If you're launching it for the first time, you'll see a curated list of popular items, automatically replaced with your frequently used items over time as you use the app.
      • Reference View
        • When a resource is open, the New Tab adapts to show relevant tools, workflows, guides, and books based on the active reference, so you’re always just a click away from what matters most to your current study.

    Hi Matt,

I tried to test the changes behind the release note under Bug Fixes / Search

    • Updated the Collection picker and Add Version picker to no longer include Bibles created as Personal Books.

Can you elaborate on that change?

    1. For me, it seems that the new beta version still shows PB bibles in Search / Add Version and and as part of collections in Search (glad that it does!). Maybe I didn't understand the use case. How would I see a difference to prior Logos versions?
    2. Why would such a change be a bug fix? I don't recall any complaints about this - where is the bug?
    3. PB bibles should work exactly as Logos-produced bibles, if there is anything that doesn't work for PB bibles as it does for any other bible, then this is a bug and should be fixed, not the other way round.

Have joy in the Lord! Smile

Yes, but would be great if it worked for Library and Documents as well.

Of course, this is probably my fault. I should of specified this is for Smart Search only. I plan to make that more clear in the release note. @NB.Mick

I love how if you highlight a passage and the click on New Tab it opens the resources and tools occurs the passage you highlight and not just the verse you are on.
