This is normal for businesses. Just odd.

    • 'Free', is the subscription (in the 'small print'). Not the app.
    • No, not ok for the dastardly Logos 10'ers. Logos 9'ers allowed.
    • Must be a friend or family. Not ok for the un-friended.
    • You only get up to 100 friends (or family). I suppose a student could fund a pizza party (class).
    • Apparently, serious fraud envisioned; special fraud rules.

Faithlife has changed so much. In an odd way.

Thank you for creating a referral program and producing great products! I do have a question? Wasn't it recently true that referring a new customer to try a month = a free month for you? If so, does this new program reduce the incentive for the referrer? My friends and I often joke that I should get paid by faithlife for the way I talk about Logos and Proclaim. So I'm thankful for some avenue to do that, but if I'm honest, $5 is not much at all.

Could you offer more rewards to those who refer? What about staggered goals? $5 reward for starting a trial, another $5-15 when they pay for a month (or a complimentary month sub for the referrer).

I know there is an affiliate program, but I don't currently have the platform/reach to qualify for that.

What would really give me incentive to refer friends would be certain feature additions that made Logos/Verbum more compatible with our style of study. What about 5 votes to up the suggestion of my choice on the feedback site rather than $5.

I always tell my friend that he should sign up for the affiliate program because he'd make a fortune off of just me. :-)

I do hope this doesn't become like it was when they did the $100 referral credit a couple years back… for a while all the Facebook Logos groups were spammed with maybe a dozen people posting their link over and over.

    5 bucks is inadequate.

The ideas of staggered goals and non-monetary rewards are interesting. The bar for starting a free trial is pretty low, so any monetary incentive must be as well.

The restrictions of 100 people who are family or friends are probably in place to prevent abuse, e.g. an influencer asking a favor from followers.

Is better than $5 bucks off a $50 dollar purchase 😂😂😂
