Reordering Anchors in Notes

Reordering Anchors in Notes
I stick to Notes to keep my thoughts organized. When doing a Topic study, I might include some sentences/paras from various sources as Anchors. Usually, I go from one dictionary to another, so the Anchors are in the order of dictionaries I read, AND not in the order of themes. Once I finish the study, I would like to reorder the Notes by themes, but I can’t seem to be able to do that.
- Is it correct that we can order the Anchors in any order that we like?
Thanks

Yes. But they cannot be re-ordered unless you delete and re-apply some.

Thank you Dave. Deleting and reapplying is a big pain as the number of increase.
I realized that I am able to reorder if I use Clippings instead! Yeah, I have one more reason to try out Clippings.

There is another way you can reorder your notes—sort of.
If you have multiple notes anchored to a verse, order the notes by reference.
In the left pane of the notes panel, you will see all the notes for that verse.
You can drag a note by its icon to the new order. (Was: 1,2,3,4, Now is: 1,4,2,3)
If you would like complete steps to do this, please let me know.

Yes, I see that reordering notes works as you showed. But can I reorder
anchors within a single note
without having to delete and re-add them?
Would be useful to drag & drop anchors within a note to sort them…
