Logos 10 Won't open

I had this problem on 40.1 and now again on 41.0.

Trying to open logos today for sermon prep and the blue pop up screen just opens and closes. Last time the update to 40.2 got me going again. This is very frustrating honestly. I'm running windows 10 can't imagine what I am doing wrong.

Since you mentioned that the last time you were able to solve the problem by upgrading to the newer version, please try this again: download Logos 41.1:
    https://downloads.logoscdn.com/LBS10/Installer/41.1.0.0006/LogosSetup.exe

It installed fine, shut down the PC just to be sure. Same thing. Really strange, the last time I i wiped the whole install trying to solve this.

Your best bet is to contact support and ask for remote assistance to help determine the cause. Window 10 works as well as windows 11. Version 10 should run under both. Here are a couple of links that may help. The forums are all volunteer and diagnosing your situation may be difficult at best to in here.

    I suggest:

    https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008543031-Logos-Support-Remote-Assistance

The techical support area is here:

    https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/sections/360001615151-Desktop

You need to copy the links from this post and access directly through a web browser. I did a quick copy paste to this comment. I am still learning the new forum tools.

It will work. Don't give up. Once running again, consider a subcription. The AI feature is astounding on the results and things are being improved!!

Thanks I have been meaning to just haven't taken the time. Hoping to avoid a sub at all costs lol. This recent experience hasn't pointed me in that direction but I bought my package a long time ago. Works for what I use it for.

I finally got the problem solved and it was of course user error. I block windows update because I don't like the intrusion. I apparently hadn't updated since 2023😁 Got that done and Logos is back in action.

Thank you to all those that tried to help.

Good to see resolved. Updates are just a real pain. The position of W10 users is now a forced transition or slow death by Microsoft. Stay current on the O/S if you can, with a planned migration to W11 ( yeah, I know - Hardware dependent) if possible.

Still say a subscription is very affordable and cancellable. I was a STRONG opponent to the idea of the script model. If you find that it is possible - try it! it allows you to have access to books you may not have ( or even want).

I am not a paid spokesman for FL or Logos. 😉
