Why no more Table of Contents in Book Previews ("See Inside") on Logos website book offerings?

When I am trying to determine whether I might want to buy a book or not, I always want to see its Table of Contents, which almost always helps provide a helpful overview of the book's content. When I clicked on "See Inside," I was routinely disappointed that the complete TOC was not included in the Preview, but at least at the upper right-hand corner of the window of the preview there was an option to provide the TOC. Several times, now, that latter option has not been available, so I have no way to see the TOC at all, and I assume that there has been a formal decision to remove this from all book offerings on the site.

I am weary of having to go to Amazon to see a decent book preview because what Logos offers so routinely fails to show me what I find most helpful (not just the TOC, but also more than a few lines of its introduction or preface, etc.). But now it appears certain that EVERY TIME now I will have to leave the Logos site to go to the Amazon site to find information I need on whether or not I want to come back to the Logos site and purchase the book.

Gosh, this seems counterproductive for Logos, or so it seems to me. Amazon knows how to make book previews that help its customers decide whether to buy a book or not, but how Logos supposes that its very different method helps its customers or the company is mysterious to me. Do any of you know why Logos has made this change, and whether there is any chance they might reverse it?

I posted this same concern on another thread. I hope FL is listening as they claim on some of their emails (e.g. We listened, again…)

A preview of a detailed ToC is essential in making a decision when it comes to purchasing resources. Removing the ToC preview is a step light years back!

No TOC. Fewer text samples than in the past. Some books don't have the number of pages listed. Less authorial biographies. All this makes the shopping experience less productive.

It's becoming difficult to 'divine' the direction FL is wanting to go. 'Chaos Manor'.

Tbf, Amazon, while usually doing better, often doesn't include TOCs for certain more scholarly titles (Brill, et al.), and as a result, I don't buy their books either. I've made similar posts of this sort in the past, particularly with reference to essay collections and festschrifts…with no inkling of what the individual essay topics are, I'm not about to drop $$$ into a black hole.

But Amazon does have sample download, much of the time. I use that a lot, to figure out the author's potential bias, when not in the publisher blurb.

No samples: I looked at my Pre-pubs, yellow-stripers and green-lined, all the way up to the one I have incoming this month.

Result: no sample text. [And no TOC]

The semi-solution, should these desired inner looks not be returned, is to buy + test drive. Upon return, CS asks why. One can let them know why.
