Good Book on Sale on the Verbum Side

It's not that expensive to begin with, and inexpensive with the monthly sale.
I'm always a bit shy on Christian history books, since they tend to back-filter with more modern dogma or views. This one tends to be pretty clean … and sticking pretty close to what can be demonstrated. This one looks at the interplay between philosophy (largely greek), and the development of Christian thinking.
And if you're not comfortable with that angle, take a pass.

Yes, Verbum has a monthly free book and a few more discounted just like on Logos.com. This book is part of the deals for May. It's always worth checking that page when the month turns over.

Hi @Jonathan Huber,
Thanks for letting me know. :) If I am understanding correctly, for both Logos and Verbum, I really need to check the sale pages the first week of every month, but then the middle and last ends of the month I don't need to pay attention to it. Is that correct?

I think Logos.com has (had?) a free book, middle of the month, too. But not Verbum.

On Faithlife? If you mean an FB group, I would have to opt out, but if you mean something else, let me know.

Not FaceBook, Faithlife. The company that makes Logos and Verbum. There are user groups on Faithlife.com, some more active than others, and one of the more active ones is
which will inform about new free books on any of the Logos sites (there are currently two free ones on Logos.com plus one per month each on Verbum.com, on the Spanish and the German language sites, one audio book, one eBook and one for subscribers, possible another one in Spanish for subscribers. Sometimes there are other free books - and those all are non-fiction books, there's a different group for those interested in free Fiction in their Logos environment.Have joy in the Lord!

I’m a Verbum user and every 1st of the month I download the free Verbum book and then I go to Logos and download the Logos free book, e-book and audio book. I may not always agree with them but you never know when you want a differing opinion.

For sure a skill I learned in college. :) Some of the best resources I had writing papers were ones I totally disagreed with or thought were off the wall. They also sometimes came in super handy though, especially at 3am.
