Linking to a particular view in the Bible Books Explorer

Logos Community,

Does the Bible Books Explorer Copy Location function allow me to link to a particular view within the tool? For example, I'm trying to Copy Location from the Bible Books Explorer view showing the New Testament > Pauline (epistles) > Timeline as a link and am not having any luck. The saved link simply reopens the Bible Books Explorer to the Timeline view for the entire Bible.

  1. Here is the link I save - to Favorites or Copy Location

2. Here's what the saved link re-opens to:

We don't currently have any plans to provide better urls for the Bible Books Explorer interactive.

I recommend following the Product Suggestions link at the top of the page and adding a new suggestion so that others can vote on it to indicate their support for the idea.

The created link is "https://ref.ly/logosres/interactive:bible-books?pos=index.html%23!%2ftimeline" As you can see there are no parameters beyond timeline so one cannot save a more specific view … Timeline is the most you can request.

    MJ,

Thank you for the response on this. To your knowledge, does Logos have a plan to update/expose more fully qualified URLs? By observation they capability to capture to an exact location (pg number and paragraph) does exist in some resources.
