Why is Logos using so much RAM?!
I have used Logos for 3 years on my same laptop (Asus zenbook 15, 16 gigs of ram) but it seems to be using way more RAM than it used to.
I attached a screenshot of my task manager to show the RAM usage. Although that screenshot is with only the Bible and one sermon open. Sometimes it uses 1200 or more mb of Ram.
Is this normal or is there something configured incorrectly with my settings?

Logos v.42 has a layout with 13 tabs . When I awoke Logos after c.16 hours of non-use it registered 78 MB but quickly jumped to 500 MB after I ran a couple of simple Searches. On the same machine, with 14 tabs and the under same conditions, Verbum v.42 is showing 400 MB. Verbum has now dropped to 256 MB whilst Logos remains at 500 MB.
Can you report usage after a few hours of inactivity, followed by a couple of simple Searches?
EDIT: I opened Notes tool and made a simple change to note text. Logos jumped to 950 MB but Verbum went to 1140 MB. I only have 140 Notes!!

this is on MacBook Pro m2 … with v 42.0.407.
I only have this opened..
On the bright side, I take solace in max utilization of the thousands of monies spent on the device 😐️
Update : after restart device, still hungry

@Michelle Update : after restart device, still hungry
Logos and Verbum (Windows) start hungry (c. 550MB) but do give up memory after some time being idle. Your 990 MB (MacOS) seems excessive.
