Is there a way to create a custom citation style?

I'm just copying things for small group Bible study, and just want to cite author and book. Is there a way to create a custom citation style to do this for me or am I just going to have to continue manually doing this?

What application are you copying into? Do you have "Copy Footnotes" enabled in Program Settings?

I'm copying into Microsoft Word or Apple Pages. I have "copy footnotes" turned off.

Logos does not support the creation of custom citation formats.

You will need to select the one that is closest to what you need, then edit the citation that Logos produces.
