Logos for Church

I think this is a great facility for churches but my initial reaction to the email announcing it was negative because of the angle Logos chose to put on it.

Equip your leaders with curated theological resources from voices you respect

Save your leaders the cost of equipping themselves—with resources you may not trust

If my congregation saw that they would run a mile from it thinking the leadership was trying to control their minds with what they thought "suitable". Any leader of a sect would love this approach. I know this is not what is intended. I'm just flagging up how it hit me on first reading.

It is important to keep that context in mind. I've communicated this with the appropriate team internally, Graham. Thank you so much for taking a moment to share.

@Graham Bennett Thanks so much for this feedback! I can certainly see how to read this in the way you did. We'll work on refining how we talk about this. Definitely not in it for the mind control, but we do want to help churches equip their people with quality content!

Thank you Beka. It's good to get such an understanding response.
