Scrolling jumps in books

When I scroll up or down line-by-line in a book, the lines go up or down sort of sporadically, skipping several lines. This makes it pretty difficult to read. Anyone else having this problem? I have the latest iOS version (18.5) and the latest version of Logos. I don’t think this happens in any other app. I have deleted the app and downloaded/reinstalled with no change.

I don't see this behaviour.
Can you check the View Settings settings for the book you are reading? Do you have Scrolling view enabled?

Be sure you have not enabled the "paged view" tab, sometimes located under the "more" tab. If any of your bible tabs have columns enabled (paged view), then they will all be enabled the next time you open the program. I spend lots of time opening the view tab and disabling the "paged view" tab to prevent the text from jumping five or so lines at a time. I use lots of bible tabs, so it is easy to forget that one was set to "paged view" after I closed the program. This will cause all of your bible tabs to automatically open with the "paged view" toggled on, and that will prevent line-by-line scrolling. Hope this helps.

I do have “Scrolling View” enabled on the books I am scrolling. As a matter of fact, unless I am misunderstanding something, I couldn’t scroll at all without that value set to on.
Regarding the “paged view” tab, I am unable to locate that setting under the “more” tab. Could you maybe provide a screenshot of where it’s located?
Thanks to all for responding.

hello everyone , please I need your help .. when I input in a verse on my mobile app , it somehow automatically scrolls down to another part of the book .. Like for example I input in 2Timothy 3:16 , it will bring this verse but quickly scroll to like the fourth chapter or even way back to the first verses of chapter 2

this has been happening to me, too, when I’m trying to read the Bible, it randomly starts skipping around. Sometimes it’s so bad.

Danny, I'm not familiar with the "scrolling " view. Could you or Graham help me find that labeled button?
Across the top of your open Bible window, there are the "Home", "Search", and "Notes" tabs or buttons. The second-to-last button changes according to the "more" button (the last button in the row). The "More" button offers numerous options and updates the fourth button according to the selection made from the "More" button. Click the "more" button and select "view", then look under the top row of buttons to the lower row of buttons and find "paged view". That turns columns on and off. If columns are turned on, you will not be able to scroll line by line.
I'm unsure how to send a screenshot. I am using the latest version of Logos. I hope this helps.

Hi @Cal
Danny's question relates to the mobile app which is different from how the desktop app is laid out which I think you are referring to
