The tooltip that pops up when you hover over the Search tab shows up inconsistently, as the gif below shows. I have noticed "New Tab" also shows the tooltip inconsistently.
A much better quality video than the "gif" would be appreciated. Also, the original image gets lost after posting, hence the link and large space.
I see a Search tooltip consistently in my layout (at least 5 tabs per tile). But it took a while to discover that a New Tab has a tooltip. Both comments apply to unnamed (image only) and named tabs, where "Search" and "New Tab" are the only names in my layout:-

If building a layout I would also experience the longer names for the Search tab.

The video should be sufficient to see that the tooltip is not appearing consistently (though I'll keep that in mind for the future). There is a bug here, though I haven't been able to figure out what causes it.
I just discovered that one of my two Search tabs will not display a tooltip, but both tabs had been inactive for a long period. I can't induce one to appear even after running a new query.
EDIT June 11: still not displaying a tooltip.
