Anyone know of a resource that shows or cites practical examples of where some proverbs are used elsewhere in scripture?
@Anthony U not sure what you mean by "practical examples." Faithlife has an interactive called New Testament Use of the Old Testament. You can select Proverbs in the filter bar to find where they are used in the NT. There is also a commentary on the use of the Old Testament in the New Testament edited by Beale and Carson. It has an index, though I think that the index mention each and every time Proverbs is cited in the book. Another feature that can be useful if you have it is "Important Passages" in the Passage Guide. Run the PG on Proverbs. The section called "Important Passages," if you have it, will list in descending order of relevance the passages that are most commonly related to Proverbs (they can be from the OT too).
oh wow- thanks. I will try this for sure.
Depending on what package(s) you have, you (probably?) have the 'Proverbs Explorer Dataset'; if you do it means you can use the proverb label to search for proverbs in the Bible. There is dataset documentation that provides information on all of the types/etc. that you can search for. Below is a simple example that will find all type proverbs in the Bible using the *.

At a simpler level, the Related Passages of the Insights panel provides information about Proverbs verses.
I am trying to find info on the Catholic Jesus Prayer. So I went to the search and typed "Jesus Prayer" in quotes, but I am getting "Jesus' prayer" and even "Jesus, prayer." Is there a way to clarify that I am only looking for the results of what I typed?
2 questions. Does Logos or anyone know of or have a Modern Greek Translation recommendation? Does Logos or anyone know of or have a Modern Greek Translation with a NT Greek Interlinear I am taking a modern Greek class and think it would be interesting to have.
If I open a notebook, the "notebook" is on the left and the note itself is on the right. I can scroll through notes listed in the notebook by scrolling my mouse, but I would really like an actual scrollbar I can just grab and pull. I understand that if I move my mouse between the notebook and notes that something that…
I want to do a Bible search but not with a consecutive range. I see no way to select more than one book that does not immediately follow each other in the Bible. In this case, the synoptic gospels plus Acts.
