Anyone know of a resource that shows or cites practical examples of where some proverbs are used elsewhere in scripture?
@Anthony U not sure what you mean by "practical examples." Faithlife has an interactive called New Testament Use of the Old Testament. You can select Proverbs in the filter bar to find where they are used in the NT. There is also a commentary on the use of the Old Testament in the New Testament edited by Beale and Carson. It has an index, though I think that the index mention each and every time Proverbs is cited in the book. Another feature that can be useful if you have it is "Important Passages" in the Passage Guide. Run the PG on Proverbs. The section called "Important Passages," if you have it, will list in descending order of relevance the passages that are most commonly related to Proverbs (they can be from the OT too).
oh wow- thanks. I will try this for sure.
Depending on what package(s) you have, you (probably?) have the 'Proverbs Explorer Dataset'; if you do it means you can use the proverb label to search for proverbs in the Bible. There is dataset documentation that provides information on all of the types/etc. that you can search for. Below is a simple example that will find all type proverbs in the Bible using the *.

I'd like to do searches on waw-consecutive third-he verbs that end in a he (but a he that's not a pronominal suffix). Can this be accomplished through the morph search?
The font color for entire book of 1 Samuel is red. How do I change it back and does anyone have an idea on how this could happen? It happened on my phone but it also appears on my Windows laptop. How do I select the entire book of 1 Samuel?
BDAG is the gold standard Greek Lexicon, I am aware. But sometimes I am confused about what those definitions/glosses mean in context to Bible verses. For example, BDAG gives no definition and one gloss for the word Kardia in Greek, "heart." With one gloss that cannot possibly capture this Greek meaning in English, as…
