How can I stop every single word being highlighted when I move my mouse over a text?

It is so distracting. I've looked everywhere for an option to turn this off. Like everything in Logos, I find the GUI counter-intuitive and frustrating to use. Nothing is easy to find.

I only keep using it because it has better materials than competitors, not because I enjoy using it.

Are you talking desktop, web, or mobile. I don't see the behavior you describe on the desktop but I wonder if you have the Factbook filter on (first item on the left under formatting in the resource tool bar).

The “Hover” option in the “Emphasize” section for “Corresponding Words” might be the cause of your discomfort. To turn it off for a specific Bible, navigate to the “Formatting” section, select “Emphasize,” and either uncheck “Corresponding Words” or change the setting from “Hover” to “Click.”

To turn off this feature for all books, locate the three dots in the far-right corner of each item (as shown in the attached screenshot). Clicking on these dots will reveal the option “Do not show in any books.” Selecting this option will ensure that the highlights are no longer displayed across all books. The same method can be applied to the “Current dictionary/lexicon entry (lemma)” option.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can completely turn off the “Emphasize” feature by turning off the “Show visual emphasize” button.
