Is there a way to make a Collection of just your Print Library (the print books that you added to your Library)?
You can't. Collections (imo wrongly) refuse to include books not on the machine, which unfortuantely includes the books in the print library with "license:none"
What are you trying to accomplish with your collection?
I have a set of commentaries only in print form. I want do a search of just those volumes. If I could put them in a collection, then when I do a search I could specify just search that collection.
Got it. The search tool doesn't currently support the use of searching unowned Print Library books in a specific collection.
@Al Soares Here's a workaround:
I own all books of Hans Urs v. Balthasar in print. I added all of the ones available in Logos/Verbum to the Print Library and assigned to all of them Mytag:vB. When I want to search theses books, I limit my Search to "vB".
Works fine for me!
@Al Soares please read Andrew's answer very carefully: the collections are the limiting factor. You can use mytags, like NichtNur showed (if you haven't tagged the PrintLibrary books, don't worry, license:none will perfectly do), however, the books search has an explicit in-built search for the Print Library:
Thank you, all! I didn't know about the Books search having the built-in "Print Library" option. Works for me! Thanks again.
